PF 215 Hand-Held Degausser for Video and Computer Tape



This product has been DISCONTINUED by the manufacturer. New units are not available, used units can be shipped based on availability for $139.00 each. The Model PF 215 operation is simple. Five seconds is all it takes to completely erase a tape. Hold your video tape, push the button on the degausser and wave it over each side of the tape. It's that easy!

This unit is recommended only for small quantities of media because it overheats quickly. The duty cycle is approximately one minute operation and thirty minutes cool-down. An automatic circuit breaker turns the degausser off when the temperature rises to its maximum point.

This unit is also powerful enough to demagnetize refrigerator door gaskets, such as those in SubZero refrigerators and other types of fridges. If you are finding that your refrigerator door sticks and is too difficult to open, the PF215 provides an easy and quick solution to help make the door easier to open.

This machine is powered for the United States at 115 VAC; 60 Hz.

* A more powerful alternative is the Erase-O-Matic 1 Degausser or the Erase-O-Matic 3 Degausser, which erase varying forms of digital video, audio and computer tape.
