We beat the competition. Our policy maintains that if you are not satisfied with your new machine, with stocked items, simply return it to us. We will be happy to either replace it with another that will better suit your needs or give you a refund (less a 25% restocking charge). Special order machines may not be returned. We guarantee that you will be completely satisfied with your product; if not, return it for exchange or for a 75% refund of your purchase price (excluding freight). That is our commitment.

Not interested in purchasing a machine, but in desperate need of erasing that stockpile of used tapes or hard disk drives? Why not consider renting or leasing the machine that is right for you. Data Devices is the only company in the media maintenance business that rents and leases a full line of machines. We work with you, our customer, and want you to work with us.

Should you encounter a problem with your machine during its life span, simply ship your machine back to us and we will take care of the problem ourselves. Generally, machines carry a warranty of ninety days to one year from shipment. We also offer an extended warranty for either two or three years, and you will usually be sent another machine if your machine fails during the extended warranty period. We also offer yearly on-site or depot repair or maintenance contracts to service your machine right in your office or in our factory, depending on difficulty of service.
