The SV91M is approved by N.A.T.O. and designed to erase a broad range of magnetic media, including high density metal tapes and hard disk drives. This means that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization has approved the SV91M for security applications. The SV91M is quick too, taking as little as ten seconds to completely erase a cassette. Its simple to use and its compact table top operation provides a thoroughly effective and low-cost means of degaussing LTO-1, LTO-2, LTO-3, Super DLT-I, II, and III, Betacam SP, D2, Mll, DAT, Travan, 8mm and other high coercivity tapes, as well as hard drives. The SV91M is a compact, low noise, manually operated unit that sits neatly on a table top and has been designed with security operations in mind as its powerful degaussing fields can erase even metal particle tape.
