The Erase-O-Matic Digital Video Degausser is a new, patented degausser engineered to erase various forms of digital video cartridges, including Mini DV, DVC Pro, DV Cam, Digital Betacam, Betacam SP, and more. This new, low-cost degausser enables personal users with small tape libraries to erase and recycle their digital video. Powerful and quiet enough to use at your office desk, this unit uses the latest permanent magnet technology instead of electricity.

Simple and Quiet Two-Pass Operation
Slide your tape cartridge through the slot opening of the degausser. Flip the cartridge over and slide it through again. Your tape is erased.

Mobile and Deployable: No External Power Required
This degausser uses permanent magnets and is thus a stand-alone unit that does not require electrical power. This bulk eraser / degausser requires no power source and has no switches, controls, adjustments, or moving parts -- which eliminates the need for maintenance and special operating, handling, or processing skills. Each time magnetic media is passed through the media transport pathway, it is exposed to the same uniform type and level of magnetic forces – and you will get the same results every time.

Continuous Duty Erasure
Most degaussers require electrical power for erasure. Thus, many degaussers overheat and need time to cool down. As this unit employs permanent magnets and does not overheat, it has a continuous duty cycle and can be run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Reliable and Rugged
As there are no moving or electrical parts that degrade with use, the Erase-O-Matic Digital Video Degausser requires very little maintenance to prevent or repair problems. This unit comes standard with a one year warranty, and an optional 3 year extended warranty is available for $95.00.

Rental
This unit is available for rental for $95.00 per week and comes shipped in a heavy-duty transportation case. A remanufactured machine can be purchased for $225.00 including a new machine warranty of one year from date of shipment.
