The Dahle 40434 High Security Shredder is designed to be used in a small office or by a team of employees for the destruction of top secret documents. It's built with a 10 1/4 " feed opening to accommodate paper with ease. The cross-cut shredder features two solid steel cutting cylinders that reduce paper to a 1mm x 4.7mm particle size to security level 6 standards. It offers a up to 12 sheet capacity.

The Dahle 40434 uses the latest technology to offer full electronic capabilities including such safety features as Automatic Shutoff when the cabinet door opens and Auto Reverse to prevent an overfeed. Automatic On/Off and Bag Full Auto Off are features that offer both convenience and satisfaction in knowing you will be notified when it’s time to change the bag. Equipped with a built in EvenFlow Lubricator automatic oiling system. This system provides slow, continuous lubrication across the entire cutting mechanism and ensures peak shredder performance.

This shredder employs a matched pair of solid steel cutting cylinders that are capable of reducing a single sheet of paper into over 15,500 tiny particles. These particles are so small that they have been rendered impossible to reassemble.

Those interested in conserving energy as well as reducing electrical costs will enjoy the revolutionary SmartPower Energy Management System. This multi-stage system reduces power consumption after ten minutes of sitting idle (sleep mode), and completely powers down after an additional 20 minutes of inactivity.
