The Model FD 8650HS-D Heavy Duty Shredder with Automatic Oiler and Deployment Package offers Level 6 Security in a compact, rugged design to shred "Top Secret" or classified documents. An easy-to-use LED control panel puts the power right at your fingertips and high quality components ensure durability. The Model FD 8650HS-D combines the latest electromechanical technology to destroy U.S. Government classified records to the smallest particle size. The Model 8650HS-D Shredder includes, as a standard feature, the EvenFlow Automatic Oiling System to prolong the life of the shredder and maintain peak operating efficiency.

The FD 8650HS-D Cross-Cut model can shred up to 24 feet per minute, with a shred size of only 1/32" x 3/16" (Level 6). It has been evaluated by NSA and meets all new NSA, CSS, and DoD standards for the shredding of Top Secret/COMSEC/SCI material, and it meets or exceeds performance requirements in NSA/CSS Specifications 02-01 for Level 6 high security cross-cut shredders..

This is a heavy duty, high volume disintegrator and is recommended for a department of 8 - 10 users per day. With an extremely large 53 gallon high-density plastic waste bin, a mixed bag of waste, including paper, printout, light volume plastic (such as overhead transparencies) of 1000 - 1500 lbs. per day can be fed intermittently throughout the workday (depending on density). The one-hour NSA Durability Test evaluated processing 18 reams of paper per hour, and the machine can be utilized continuously throughout operations requirements. As an added bonus, the cost of supplies (oil and bags) is dramatically lower than competing models, so your cost of operation in future years will be extremely low.
