The NSA- & DoD-evaluated Model 5140C/4 Maximum Security Heavy Duty Shredder with Oiler combines the latest electromechanical technology to destroy U.S. Government classified records to the smallest particle size available. The Model 5140C/4 produces a particle size of .8mm x 5mm and is listed on the NSA/CSS 02-01 Evaluated Products List for High Security Paper Shredders and is a popular high security paper shredder.

Built with a wide 16.00" feed opening, the Model 5140C/4 features a solid steel cutting cylinder that reduces paper to a 0.8mm x 5.0mm particle size. It offers up to 18 sheet capacity shredding.

The 5140C/4 Bundled Solution comes standard with a "Factory Installed Automatic Oiler" with a ONE GALLON plastic jug that is "easy" to replace with the "quick disconnect" feature. No pouring to fill messy oil reservoirs. The easy to install Oil Bracket can be positioned on either side or the back of the shredder depending on your space requirements and desire.

Designed with safety in mind, the unique Safety Protection System employs an electronically-controlled safety flap in the feed opening to help prevent industrial accidents or overfeeding.

The Model 5140C/4 meets all new DoD standards for the shredding of Top Secret/COMSEC/SCI material. It meets/exceeds all performance requirements of NSA/CSS Specifications 02-01 and is listed on the NSA Evaluated Products List (EPL).

This is a high volume shredder and is recommended for 10 users or more per day. These units are classified as departmental because typically they support several areas at once. The shredder offers a 150-300 lbs. per day shredding capability, intermittently fed.
