The SuperWiper™ 8" Erase Field unit with 4 SAS/SATA-3 and 6 USB 3.0 ports is extremely fast at erasing and wiping data from hard disk drives, Solid State drives and USB storage devices. The unit's top performance speed is 28GB/min when erasing Solid State Drive(SSD) and 10GB/min when erasing 1TB WD Hard Disk Drives. The unit's hardware includes a built-in 8" touchscreen color LCD display, 4 SAS/SATA-3 ports, 8 USB 3.0 ports, 2 Gigabit Ethernet port, one e-SATA port, one DP port, one DVI port, and 3 Audio Ports. An optional Express Card Port or Expansion Port is also available. The wipe application is very efficient under Linux OS and it is very easy to use, with just a few clicks and user is up and running. Users can chose to erase from DoD or Secure erase protocols. The application is designed to run very efficiently in a continuous erase mode operation, where each port acts separately. Express Card Port Option: An optional port that needs to be installed at the time of purchasing the main unit. This additional port gives the user the ability to plug and use a few kinds of Express Card adapters with different interfaces and Express Card media. The user can erase data from those additional new interfaces and devices. For example, dual port 1394A/B, PCIE memory cards(Sony SxS), Mini PCIE SSD(not mSATA).
Expansion Port Option for Expansion Box Option: An optional expansion port that needs to be installed at the time of purchasing the main unit. This additional port gives the user the ability to plug and use Expansion Box with express card reader pre-installed. The user will also be able to support SCSI hard disk drives with additional SCSI KIT.
