Automatic Security for Optical Media Formats
The Model 2495 provides the ultimate data destruction of optical media, both CDs and DVDs of all kinds, and assures Department of Defense secure destruction requirements are met. The operator stacks 200 disks - CDs and DVDs interchangably - and the machine automatically destroys the disks completely at the throughput speed of 1,000 disks per hour.
This extremely high-speed, easy-to-use machine incorporates an autoloader into the machine itself which permits handling a stack of 200 discs at a time. The operator only needs to fill the input hopper every ten minutes during the destruction operation for non-stop machine processing.
The Model 2495 automatically destroys the entire disc into small (3/16”) bits to obliterate all label data and all recorded information. It destroys the plastic substrate and deposits all destroyed material in the vaccuum processer which accompanies the machine. The bag of the vaccuum processor only needs to be replaced when full.
