The KD-100 Key Tape Destroyer is a low cost, lightweight, compact and easy-to-use destroyer designed specifically for key tape.

The KD-100 Key Tape Destroyer is DoD approved for the destruction of key tape. This fast and efficient compact destroyer disintegrates a 10.2" strip of key tape in 4 seconds, or up to 13 feet per minute down to a fine powder.

Specially designed cutter has a long lifespan of 750 minutes before needing to be replaced.

This unit requires the addition of an external shop vacuum for waste collection, and the price of the machine includes the specifically selected correct external vacuum.

No toxic fumes. No airborne dust. A low-cost disposable filter bag can be quickly and easily changed.

Environmentally Friendly
Makes a cool, harmless powder. No high temperatures. Just discard shop vac filter bag.

Simple and Safe To Use
No doors or drawers to open. No buttons to push. No latches, catches, levers or hasps to operate. No exposed moving parts to worry about. In the event of a power failure, the tape can simply be pulled out of the machine.

Fully Automatic
Once set up and the shop vac power is on, just insert the tape into the slot opening and turn on the KD-100. The KD-100 automatically pulls the tape in and disintegrates it. When the tape has been destroyed, the motor will rev as an indication that the unit can be turned off.

Simple To Clean and Maintain
No lubrication required. Quick and easy replacement of cutters, rollers, etc. A special timer - similar to a car's odometer - indicates when service is required.

Please note: Model KD-100-120-EXTVAC must always be used with an external vacuum. The external vacuum must be inserted into the KD-100 vacuum adapter and the shop vac must be turned on before the KD-100 is powered up.
