With this in mind, Dahle’s developed a new generation of shredders that destroy more then just paper. Printed office data, CDs, DVDs, credit cards and floppy disks can be easily and efficiently destroyed with this office shredder. Invoices, emails, marketing proposals, medical records and other critical business information should be properly destroyed to prevent others from gaining access to your organization's data.

The 30406 Multi+Media Shredder is designed to shred between 2,000 and 8,000 sheets of paper per day, as well as CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, staples, paper clips, and credit cards.

The Dahle 30406 Multi+Media Shredder is built with a 12" feed opening to accommodate your media with ease. This strip-cut machine produces a 1/4" strip shred size to security level 2 standards. It can shred between 30-35 pages at a time.

This professional shredder is constructed using a wooden cabinet with a swing-open door, which not only houses the shredded waste but also deafens the noise to allow for whisper quiet operation. The door hides the waste container, easily lined with disposable shred bags, which can be quickly and safely removed and replaced for a clean, hassle-free shred experience.

The 30406 is chain driven to provide slip free power to the cutting mechanism from the powerful 1 1/4 Hp motor. A solid steel frame houses and aligns two perfectly matched cutting cylinders milled from a single bar of German Solingen steel. The result is a machine with strength, power, and the ability to handle all of your information destruction needs.

Standard operator functions are made possible through an easy-to-use control pad. This allows you to power the unit up and place it in either forward, reverse, or continuous run.

This model comes with a visual indicator when the shred box is almost full. The shredder will automaticall power off when capacity has been reached. Simply change out the waste bag, close the door, and the shredder will resume normal operation. In addition, the shredder automatically powers off when the cabinet door is opened. This unit will also Auto Reverse in the event of an overfeed.
