The RoadMASSter 3 Mobile Computer Forensics Data Acquisition and Analysis Lab is a complete, portable computer lab for any forensics applications on the go. Designed for field application, this mobile forensics lab is ideal for law enforcement agencies as well as corporate security agencies to both acquire and analyze data in the field.

The RoadMASSter 3 Mobile Computer Forensics Data Acquisition and Analysis Lab is designed to perform as a fast and reliable hard drive imaging and data analysis unit.

The RoadMASSter 3 Mobile Computer Forensics Data Acquisition and Analysis Lab can be used to image hard drives of any kind - including unopened computers - as well as capture data from other media. It supports different copy formats and hashing methods.

This complete computer forensic system is built for the road with all the tools necessary to acquire or analyze data from today’s common interface technologies, including FireWire 1394A/B, USB, IDE, SATA, SAS and SCSI.

With features such as multiple media support, multiple capture mode support, on-the-fly hashing capabilities and a powerful processor for analysis, the RoadMASSter 3 is one of the most advanced, versatile, and powerful forensic tools on the market today.

MD5, CRC32, SHA1 and SHA2 Hashing: MD5, CRC32, SHA1 or SHA2 hashing can be performed during data capture, ensuring that the transferred data is an exact replica of the suspect’s data without modification.
High Speed Operation: Data transfer rates can exceed 3.3GB/min.
Five  USB ports: Can be used to connect different devices such as s/w dongle, Blue Tooth, printers, mini card readers, memory express card read, mini hub, and storage devices.
Multiple Capture Methods:  Mirror sector-by-sector format method or using a segmented file format method (Linux-DD). The Linux-DD capture method allows seizing multiple images to one evidence drive.
Multi Drive Copy: Simultaneously captures multiple source drives to multiple target drives with a multi tasking operation.
Preview and Analyze: Preview and analyze suspect’s write-protected data using Windows or using third party analysis software tools.
WipeOut: Sanitize drives and erase data to DoD specification or perform a fast wipe operation at speeds greater than 4GB/min.

LinkMASSter FireWire 1394B and USB 2.0 Interface: Acquire data from a suspect’s unopened Notebook or PC. 

Software

WipeOut DoD Option: WipeOut was designed to meet the U.S. Department of Defense specification DOD 5220-22M regarding the secure erasure of hard disk drives.
WipeOut Fast Option: The Wipeout Fast option provides a quick non-DoD method of sanitizing a drive of all previously stored data. 
LinkMASSter Application: The LinkMASSter application, combined with the unit’s built-in FireWire/USB interface, provides a fast and effective solution for the capture of drive data from a suspect’s unopened PC or notebook to an evidence drive connected to the RoadMASSter 3 unit.  The application is run from the supplied LinkMASSter bootable CD, which write protects the suspect’s drive during initialization and data acquisition. The LinkMASSter application supports on-the-fly hashing using MD5, CRC32 and SHA1.
Linux-DD Capture Mode: The LinuxDD Capture Mode supports seizing the entire contents of the suspect’s drive by capturing data as individual “LinuxDD” segmented files, which are stored in an individual subdirectory on the evidence drive.  This option also allows any number of seizures to be performed using the same evidence drive, provided there is adequate space to save the seized data.
Single Capture Mode: Suspect drive will be captured sector by sector to the evidence drive.
Intelligent Capture Mode: Intelligent Capture Mode (IQCopy) provides a fast method of seizing Windows FAT-16, FAT-32 and NTFS files systems. The file system is analyzed and only the allocated drive space is captured.  

Optional Hardware

Notebook Adapters: Special notebook adapters enable the RoadMASSter to support a variety of notebook models that use a proprietary notebook drive interface.  Adapters available include adapters for the IBM Think-Pad, Compaq Armada, NEC Versa, Dell Latitude, and Toshiba Tecra (cost $75.00 to $120.00 each).  A proprietary adapter is also available for the 1.8” ATA drive interface (cost $195.00 each).
Thermal Serial Printer: A thermal serial printer is used for printing out Forensic Audit Trail information (Cost $150.00).  The Audit Trail provides detailed information about the seizure operation performed.
Thermal Serial Printer Roll Paper: The thermal serial printer uses thermal paper rolls (cost $195.00 for 20 rolls) sized 4 1/8” x 8’ x 2”.
