The TD-5 high energy bulk eraser is a remanufactured, inexpensive, powerful degausser which incorporates cooling fans to enhance productivity. This lightweight, low cost, table top model provides 100% erasure on DLT I and II tape, as well as Beta SP, many forms of digital video tape and 3490e.

It is designed to handle all metal particle tape and hard-to-erase media. It is suitable for data processing centers, data security installations, and media users who must erase a wide variety of different kinds of media.

The Model TD-5 can be purchased as a completely refurbished machine, with new machine warranty, at a price of only $795.00. This unit is also available for rental for $199.00 per month plus shipping costs. It is not available as a new machine.
