Model 1090 Floppy Disc Eraser

The Model 1090 Diskette Eraser provides the maximum control in data protection for both standard density (325 oersted) and high density (750 oersted) diskettes. The eraser processes 3.5" diskettes, 5.25" diskettes and all other smaller floppy diskettes.

The machine is certified by the Department of Defense for use on standard and high-density media. It mees NSA and DOD requirements. The machine is designed to use permanent magnets, so it does not require any external power source. It is a stand-alone machine.

The Model 1090 is a safe, fully shielded machine and cannot accidentally affect other magnetic media located near the eraser. It is perfectly safe for desktop operation in an office environment. It does not require a skilled operator to insure proper erasure of media.
