Manually loading CDs and DVDs into a printer can be a time-consuming and laborious task, especially if your requirement for printed discs exceeds more than ten at a time. The CopyDisc AutoPrinter, offers the perfect solution affording users the ability to print up to 220 discs unattended at any one time.

The CopyDisc AutoPrinter is fitted with the Prism Plus! thermal printer, which features the very latest CD/DVD printing technology, delivering the best retail quality output possible while offering stunning full-photo graphics.

The Prism Plus! color thermal printer features 3-color (CMY) or mono color (Black, Red or Blue) and has a resolution of 600 x 300 dpi (block text and graphics). The Prism offers a throughput of approximately 30 seconds for mono printing and 1 minute for color printing.

Hig Speed, Low-Cost Printing

The Prism Plus! offers an impressive range of features to anyone who duplicates CD-Rs or other 120mm optical media such as CD-RW, DVD-R and DVD-RAM. The printer is capable of on-demand printing at fast print speeds, and its rugged durability allows 24-hour, 7 day use. You can print high durable text and colorful graphics onto a wide variety of standard lacquer-surface media types, eliminating the need for special printable surface discs.

The Prism Plus! thermal printer can print CDs at up to 300 x 600 dpi and has a printing speed of around 50 seconds per disc (depending on image resolution and printer mode).

As thermal transfers are used in the print process, the drying time required for some other printing methods is eliminated. Cost per copy is also very affordable when compared to other printing methods. The low-cost thermal ribbon can produce 500 color images, or using a single color ribbon 1500 mono images can be produced.

Networking

The CopyDisc AutoPrinter utilizes Verity Systems advanced networking software TrueNET 2, which integrates the CopyDisc printer into a pre-existing network, giving access to multiple users. It can also be connected directly to a PC via cross-over cable.
