Automated CD and DVD Printing
Loading CDs and DVDs into a printer can be a time-consuming and laborious task, especially if your requirement for printed discs exceeds more than ten at a time. The new CopyDisc Platinum Printer series offers the perfect solution, affording users the ability to print up to 220 discs at any one time without user intervention.
Fast Printing
The CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro is fitted with the most cost-effective inkjet printer available, offering stunning full photo graphics at a low cost per disc. Standard HP off-the-shelf cartridges enables this printer to run at a fraction of the cost of other disc printers. The robotic picker has been specifically designed to allow full-face inkjet printing, giving a full face, perfect print time after time. CD-R business cards and 80mm mini discs can also be printed.
Full-Face Printing
The CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro is fitted with a fast, reliable mechanical picker. Designed to lift discs by the hub, the new picker ensures a firm, positive grip while avoiding any damage to the actual disc surface. The key benefit of the picker is that users can now print to the center of full-face, inkjet printable discs.
Standalone or Networked Models
Two version of the CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro printing station are available.
1) CopyDisc 1 OptiPrinter Pro (STANDALONE)
This unit is a standalone system where no PC connection is required for operation. The model is fitted with one CD-ROM drive for the loading of PRN (print files) onto the internal hard drive. This model also includes an ink level detection system. Users can now see via the LCD panel exactly how much ink remains in their black and color cartridges as a percentage of the total ink capacity (e.g. Black 85%, Color 83%). The detection system can also be set to stop printing as soon as the ink cartridges fall below a certain level, adjustable from 0% to 5%. If the ink detection level is set at 3%, as soon as either one of the cartridges reaches3%, printing will stop. The result is no more wasted discs.
2) CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro (NETWORKED)
The CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro operates using TrueNET 2 advanced networking software. There is no drive fitted, so the system is run directly from a networked PC. Users can queue jobs and share the unit among multiple computers on the network.
