The VS8800 is a stand alone CD-R Duplicator and can be configured with up to eight 8x recorders. The unit can be supplied with a dedicated reader for one to eight disc duplication or alternatively the image can be downloaded to the internal 5GB hard drive.

For larger duplication jobs, the system keeps count of the number of copies made and any bad discs that were rejected. Up to 48 copies can be made each hour from a 650Mb master. If the master is smaller (i.e., contains less than 650Mb of date), the copies per hour increases proportionally.

Multiple CD master images can be stored on the internal hard drive (up to the capacity of the hard drive) for instant recall. Both the master and copy data CD’s can be compared to the master image to give complete integrity assurance.

Automatic format analysis: The VS8800 includes highly sophisticated software to automatically recognize the master format. No user knowledge of formats (such as “Red Book”,”Blue Book”, “Orange Book” etc) is required. The system automatically analyses the master disc and copies it byte for byte, block for block. This includes audio tracks that contain multiple indexes, UPC/MCN and ISRC codes and more.
